Window Update

I just received official word from the diocesan consulter on matters concerning buildings and structures, Deacon Tom Palanza.  Concerning the last supper window, he wrote the following: “It appears that the support frame was woefully undersized and installed in the field instead of being designed and fabricated by a reputable manufacturer.  The weight of the stained glass has caused significant deflection in the frame to a critical point that will require immediate attention.”

At this time I am awaiting a cost estimate from New England Stained Glass Company, and I will report this to you as soon as I am able.    Fr. Greg
