Last Supper Window Update
I’ve just received a proposal from the contractor on the necessary fix of the Last Supper Window. The preliminary quote for the fix is an exorbitant $28,525.00. I stress that this is only an initial estimate, and I have many questions about what is truly necessary, which I will be pursuing with diocesan officials. I just received official word from the diocesan consulter on matters concerning buildings and structures, Deacon Tom Palanza. Window problems!
Window Problems! Recently, part of our largest stained-glass window—the Last Supper window at the church entrance—fell to the ground. A repairman was called and discerned the development of serious structural problems with the window’s aluminum frame.
